Whatsapp Beta For Android Launch Voice Message Recording Lock

WhatsApp’s for Android Launch a new feature, which will make life easier for users who like to send a lot of voice messages. This was previously added to whatsapp for iphone to user conveniently record long voice message without pressing or holding record button entire time.The Android beta app will now support this feature. This feature on WhatsApp which will ensure that a user does not have to continually hold mic button, while recording the message. The feature has already been rolled out to iOS users, according to reports.

To get this new feature, WhatsApp beta testers will have to be on the version 2.18.102 of the app that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. You can also head to APK Mirror and sideload the APK file on your device.

               Limitation while using whatsapp voice recording lock

• It’s not possible to view a video while you are recording a “locked” voice message
• It’s not possible to view a photo while you are recording a “locked” voice message
• Users also can't chat with another person while recording in locked mode
• You cannot type a new message while you are recording a “locked” voice message
• Lock mode will be activated after 0.5 seconds of starting a recording
